S.H.A.P. Body Shop

Chrysler Group LLC will spend $165 million to add a new body shop at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant, bringing recent investments in the once-doomed plant and affiliated facilities to more than $1 billion. The body shop, which will span more than 1 million square feet, will build Chrysler’s new products starting in 2013. ISI installed a complete Laurenco waterproofing system to various interior metrology lab pit foundations and BASF Thorocoat to the exterior foundation walls. Industrial Services will be installing epoxy joint filler at the interior concrete slab control and isolation joints within the metrology lab.
