The Christman Co. & Lake Trust Credit Union trusted us to ensure AVB performance & continuity in their building envelope.
Our two-part scope: 1. retrofit a newly installed air/vapor barrier [AVB] system [installed by others] at the soffits & parapets, to seal every transition where other AVB materials meet - metal panel to wood siding, brick veneer to storefront, parapet to window. 2. ensure & provide a performing AVB system that keeps heat, cool & moisture, in or out, as there is no room for a barrier system that doesn't perform.
IS1 sealed dissimilar materials like the structural steel canopy framing, metal & wood facade, siding joints, & brick veneer. Client added scope mid-job to caulk the parapet-to-window transition — no gap left unsealed.
Results: Every seam tied in, every transition sealed, ready for whatever Michigan winters throw at it.
Handled Safely. On Schedule. Done Right.
